Marketing Manager

We’re looking for an experienced marketing and customer acquisition leader with broad expertise and experience to lead customer acquisition across Colorado. This role will have responsibility for the local marketing strategy, planning, budget, and media mix, leading execution across all marketing tactics and channels. This position is a key role on the Colorado leadership team and will actively contribute to growth strategy.


  • Strategy & Planning - help shape and implement the paid social media strategy, direct mail and event marketing in close partnership with the sales teams and marketing leadership.

  • Program Management - efficiently manage paid social media advertising (across Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube) including ad creative and targeting strategy and identifying opportunities for optimization. The role will oversee paid social media marketing, direct mail marketing and event marketing.

Things You’re Skilled In:

  • Understanding of social media and direct marketing practices and brand support with demonstrated success in developing and executing paid social marketing campaigns, direct mail and event marketing.

  • Excellent project management skills. Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines to drive results

  • Experience implementing paid social media campaigns across multiple social media platforms plus an interest in integrating direct mail and event marketing. Direct mail and event management experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong analytical skills to guide the future marketing budget allocation to drive customer growth at target customer acquisition costs.

  • Education: Prefer bachelor's degree in marketing or business

  • Managed online marketing budget spend of $10,000 annually or greater

Staff Accountant

Vero Broadband is currently seeking a candidate for a full-time Staff Accountant. This position is responsible for assisting the Finance department in recording transactions, maintaining records, taking a proactive role in problem resolution and prevention and assisting with process improvements

VERO Broadband was formed to fill a need in unserved and underserved communities where access to affordable, reliable broadband simply does not exist. Our goal is to bring the highest quality fiber optic based broadband services to these communities. · Create and book journal entries as part of the month end close process, including prepaid and expense accrual entries

· Analyze monthly expense variances for review with Accounting Manager

· Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations

· Prepare draft financial statements for review with Accounting Manager prior to presentation to

· executive management

· Manage fixed and intangible asset schedules including depreciation and amortization, and book

IT Director


This position is responsible for all IT functions at Vero Broadband, a dynamic and growing company with ~100 employees. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing IT for medium-sized enterprises. This position will have responsibility for all aspects of IT, including hardware, end-user support, system administration, security and incident response. Reports to the Vero Broadband COO.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware

  • Ownership and continuous improvement of IT processes, systems and documentation

  • Handle systems administration, software upgrades, access control and data protection/backup

  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventor, licenses and budgets

  • Maintain and optimize server platforms (physical and hosted) and associated network connectivity

  • Identify vulnerabilities, and recommend/implement/maintain appropriate cyber security measures, including endpoint protection, firewalls, DNS filtering, VPN

VERO Broadband is focused on becoming a market leader in the fiber to the premise industry and this position will directly impact the Company’s overall success. Your goal will be to help connect people and communities by offering best-in-class internet services through door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers.

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

· Serve as the primary driver of new revenue for the Company by actively engaging in prospecting and sales activities.

· Acquires new residential customers through door-to-door contact from assigned leads.

· Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

· Provide knowledge and sell Vero Broadband services to customers

Technical Project Manager

Locations: Colorado

The Technical Project Manager is a key driver in identifying, tracking and mitigating risks to ensure project delivery success. From Initiation through to stabilization, the Project Manager will be responsible for planning market deployment projects, customer specific engagements, setting and managing internal and external customer expectations, managing the business requirements development, review and sign-off process, managing the execution of deliverables while controlling scope, executing the change management process when needed, and ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and project roadblocks. The Project Manager will manage multiple concurrent projects and will work with Outside plant, Inside plant, field and engineering to deploy market level networks and customer level orders.


· Day-to- day management of implementations across all of our products.

· Lead development and refinement of project management methodology, implementation tools and practices and new service offerings.

· Provide application and project guidance, maintenance, training, and knowledge transfer.

· Manage resources, time, scope, and budget on multiple projects by creating and maintaining detailed project plans that emphasize speed to delivery while maximizing the efficient use of resources needed to meet the requirements.

· Facilitate regular status meetings and touch points with the implementation team and the customer providing documented key discussion items, action items, risks and issues.

Locations: Woodland Park, Colorado

This position plays a vital role in ensuring quality deliveries of our fiber services to customers.

  • Perform prep and fusion of single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic cables.

  • Place and test jumpers in communication cabinets.

  • Properly place mid-sheath splices.

  • Test and troubleshoot fiber using an OTDR, optical power meter, fiber identifier and scope.

  • Perform installation and testing of fiber cross connects.

  • Work flexible hours as needed and on-call rotation which may include nights and weekends.

  • Work with Construction Project Managers and Fiber Design to perform splicing as directed.

  • Train on bucket truck operations with supervision.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic that can provide high productivity with minimal supervision.

Permit application processing, including reviewing for accuracy, scanning & routing documents, payment

requests, etc. Maintaining project records, including reviewing for accuracy, scanning and upload to

company database. Preparing and presenting periodic project status updates to customers (written

and/or oral). Reviewing contractor deliverables, such as drawings, maps, photos and test results.
