Network Engineer

Vero Broadband is looking for a full-time Network Engineer to help build its FTT network. This position involves leveraging cutting-edge networking technologies to support an ISP startup operation. You will work as part of a small and versatile team to build a world-class operation that involves working with routers, various carrier-class network equipment, servers, WiFi devices, PON and other gear. You will support other team members and customers with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and training. The position is a full-time position that also requires participation in an after-hours on-call support program. This is a unique opportunity to get involved in cutting-edge startup operating in a growing industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Provides tier 2 and tier 3 technical support· Provides technical support for Residential & Business Broadband Services· Provides technical assistance in the operation and maintenance of a multi-vendor, multi-service Enterprise network· Ability to learn administration and maintenance of Unix and Windows-based servers and applications· Appropriately escalates critical network outage conditions to Network Service Tech and Engineering staff· Follows detailed, technical MOPs (Methods of Procedure) for maintenance and upgrades of network equipment· Aids in troubleshooting network problems in order to restore service impacts· Attends training to advance technical skills in telecommunications and enterprise networks Qualifications:· Proven experience in a network engineer role· Minimum three years experience in telecommunications or networking preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience· Linux administration skills are a plus· Experience working with PON, VLANS, DHCP, Static and Dynamic Routing Protocols, MPLS, VPNs, VRRP, BGP, etc.· Experience working with and configuring a variety of network and server hardware· Other networking related credentials a plus (i.e. CCIE, CCNP, Network+)





Business Development Analyst

The Business Development Analyst will join Vero Broadband’s team as an integral member that will drive Company growth and expansion. Vero Broadband is focused on becoming a market leader in the fiber to the premise industry and this position will directly impact the Company’s overall success. The company has aggressive growth targets, and the BD Analyst's primary objectives are to assist with meeting these targets. This will include (but not limited to) the job responsibilities outlined below and will likely develop over time.

The Business Development Analyst will report to the Chief Revenue Officer of the Company and will be a remote based (home office) position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with OSP, Operations, and Finance teams to create an efficient market costing system for FTTH deployments based on areas of interest and utilizing GIS based design tools.

  • Participate in strategies such as subsidy or grant related programs for augmenting capital deployment or increasing market share.

  • Prepare written communication and responses to RFPs and similar requests that align with core business goals as well as present when required to necessary stakeholders.

  • Develop reporting for various KPIs that are regularly analyzed by management or other departments within the Company.

  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing relevant data and provide appropriate recommendations that meet business objectives.

  • Protect the Company’s value by keeping information confidential and conduct business in such a way that enhances the Company’s reputation.

  • Stay current with industry trends by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.

This position may require occasional travel and work outside of traditional work hours as needed.


GIS and Data Specialist

The GIS and Data Specialist will join VERO Broadband’s team as an integral member that will drive Company growth and expansion. VERO Broadband is focused on becoming a market leader in the fiber to the premise industry and this position will directly impact the Company’s overall success. The company has aggressive growth targets, and the GIS and Data Specialist’s primary objectives are to assist with meeting these targets. This will include (but not limited to) the job responsibilities outlined below and will likely develop over time.

The GIS and Data Specialist will report to the Chief Revenue Officer of the Company and will be a remote based (home office) position.

GIS and Data Specialist Job Responsibilities:


      • Develop a comprehensive geospatial system for analyzing market data to be used for market evaluation, grant application submissions, and competitive industry analysis.

      • Work with OSP team to create an efficient market costing system for FTTH deployments based on areas of interest and utilizing GIS based design tools.

      • Help ensure data integrity across various platforms where single source data can be used and updated regularly to ensure consistency across the company.

      • Provide maps and data sets for various projects based on given criteria and data outputs.

      • Automate reporting for various KPIs that are regularly analyzed by management or other departments within the Company.

      • Ensure that all systems, projects, and data sets are created with scalability in mind and are resilient to data corruption.

      • Protect the Company’s value by keeping information confidential and conduct business in such a way that enhances the Company’s reputation.

      • Stay current with industry trends by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.

This position may require occasional travel and work outside of traditional work hours as needed.

Outside Account Executive (Southwest Colorado)

The Outside Account Executive will join VERO Broadband’s team as an integral member that will drive Company growth and revenue expansion. VERO Broadband is focused on becoming a market leader in the fiber to the premise industry and this position will directly impact the Company’s overall success. The company has aggressive growth targets, and the Outside Account Executive’s primary objectives are to meet revenue projections and retention goals. This will include (but not limited to) the job responsibilities outlined below and will likely develop over time.

The Outside Account Executive will report to the Chief Revenue Officer of the Company and will be a remote based (home office) position. This role will have a loosely defined territory

Outside Account Executive Job Responsibilities:

· Serve as the primary driver of new revenue for the Company by actively engaging in prospecting and sales activities.

· Execute a sales strategy that encompasses all market segments including enterprise, government and education, small business, MDU and residential customers.

· Develop a deep understanding and stay current on all Company product offerings and align the correct offering with the customer based on their need.

· Assist existing customers with recontacting services, upgrading services, or resolving any unresolved service-related issues to ensure the highest customer retention possible.

· Engage prospects and new customers by using the most effective method which may include phone (cold calling), email and in person (door knocking).

· Work with marketing, business development and operational teams to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with marketing campaigns and new market expansions.

· Track sales activity and ensure accurate information is gathered to enable various KPIs and reporting that are regularly analyzed by management or other departments within the Company.

· Participate in sales strategies such as marketing campaigns, community events or conferences to that result in increasing market share.

· Prepare written communication and responses to RFPs and similar requests that align with core business goals as well as present when required to necessary stakeholders.

· Screen potential business deals by analyzing relevant data and provide appropriate recommendations that meet business objectives.

This position will require travel and work outside of traditional work hours as needed. Each Outside Account Executive will have an area of focus but may be asked to work opportunities in other areas as needed. Compensation for this position will include commissions plus a base salary.
